Juli Metzger
For 25 years, Juli was editor, executive editor and publisher for Gannett Newspapers in several markets throughout the country. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State University. In 2011, she joined the full time faculty at Ball State University's Journalism Department. In 2012, she was named Coordinator for Unified Media in the College of Communication, Information and Media, and has overseen the $3 million construction of a multimedia, cross-platform environment where students from all media across campus converge. The final phase of the project, a digital video studio, opens in January 2015.
Lauren is a senior journalism and telecommunications major. She is the digital managing editor for Unified Media. After interning with the Sacramento Bee, she wants to work in interactivity and web while utilizing her skills as a reporter.

Aric is a senior, journalism news major at Ball State University and the news editor for the Ball State Daily News. He's held internships at the South Bend Tribute and the Indiana State Senate.

Sam is a senior magazine major at Ball State University. He is the Student Media Assistant for the Ball State Alumni Association, and Communications Assistant for Alumnus Magazine. "I hope to become a novelist and work in the magazine industry one day, maybe as a traveling writer."

She currently serves as the enterprise design editor for Unified Media and works for the Digital Publishing Studio at Ball State University. She has previously worked at Indianapolis Monthly Magazine as an intern during the Summer of 2014.

Christina Franks is a senior journalism news major at Ball State University. She also serves as the vice president of Ball State’s International Justice Mission chapter. After graduation, Franks hopes to write and work with social media for a non-profit organization.

Sierra Gillespie is a senior journalism, telecommunications news major at Ball State University. Gillespie will graduate in spring of 2015, and plans to follow the journalism path into broadcast media.
Kaytee is a senior photojournalism student at Ball State University. Since childhood, she has been interested in photography and fell in love with journalism in high school. She is excited to go to the ASNE/APME Convention to meet editors from around the country.

Matt is a senior, journalism news major and the managing editor for the Ball State Daily News. He worked as a news intern for the Brazil Times for two years. In his work in student media, Matt has written stories on Olympic skiier Nick Goepper and how homosexuality affects the culture of college athletics.
